I used ChatGPT to research the background of KERS (Kinetic energy recovery systems) and how it functions in vehicles. With the specific keywords "Describe the functions of a KERS in cars", I got the information. Next, I used Google's search engine and gAI to give me the background info on Ampaire and their EEL aircraft. The background information was crucial for me to think about which kind of KERS is good to put in the EEL-aircraft, based on its weight, simplicity and effectiveness.

The 2017 Porsche 919 Hybrid LMP1 is powered by an advanced power unit with an internal combustion engine, a turbocharged 2.0-litre V4, and an electric system (Goodwin, 2017).
